In Loving Memory of Dung Tien Pham (aka Louie Pham) May 19, 1968 – September 26, 2025 It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dung Tien Pham, affectionately known as Louie, who left us far too soon. Born on May 19, 1968, in Saigon, Vietnam, Dung brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Dung was a devoted husband to Thanh Nguyen, a loving father to Angel Dinh and Anna Pham, and a proud father-in-law to Chris Dinh. His heart was fullest in his role as a grandfather to Kaleb, Karalinh, Kristian, and Kohen Dinh, whom he adored beyond words. Becoming a grandfather was one of his greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. For over 25 years, Dung dedicated himself to his career at General Motors’ Warren Tech Center, where his hard work and commitment were evident to all who worked alongside him. Outside of work, Dung lived a life rich in connection and joy. Evenings often found him gathered around a table with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and friendly competition over card games and dominoes. During the day, he could be found riding his bike, or playing tennis and basketball—always surrounded by those he loved most. On weekends, he often attended ping-pong tournaments, earning recognition and winning many of them through his skill and passion for the game. Sundays were sacred to Dung. He dedicated his time and energy to his church community, where he served selflessly in many roles—from taking out the trash and doing dishes, to participating in the parish choir, joining the lion dance team, and being Santa Claus for many years. He gave from the heart, never asking for anything in return. Disney World held a special place in Dung’s heart. For him, it was more than a vacation destination; it was a magical escape where he could reclaim a piece of the childhood he never had. Whether traveling with his family or later exploring places like Las Vegas, Houston, and California with close friends, Dung embraced each moment with joy and gratitude. Dung's energy, kindness, and ever-present smile made him the kind of person you could instantly connect with. He was generous, humble, and endlessly selfless—a true example of love in action. Though he is no longer with us in body, Dung lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those lucky enough to have shared in his life. His memory will be cherished, his stories retold, and his legacy carried forward in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
