Elizabeth "Betty" Jenuwine

April 5, 1929 - February 11, 2022

Elizabeth "Betty" Jenuwine, age 92, passed away on February 11, 2022. Born to Ed and Esther on April 5th of 1929; beloved wife to the late Lee James Jenuwine for 55 loving years; loving mother to the late Lynn (Roger) Christel, Christie (Joseph) Giroux, the late Laurie (Keith) Brown, Joanne (Gary) McDonald, Phil Jenuwine, the late Jeff Jenuwine, and Diane (Ed) Lemanski; cherished grandmother to Dawn (Tim) Hill, Scott (Lisa) Giroux, Matt (Kirsti) Giroux, Jeff Giroux, Kevin (Amy) Giroux, David (Stefanie) Giroux, Melissa (Bob) Kinzel, Thomas Brown, Michael (Carrie) McDonald, Steven (Christine) McDonald, Robert (Ashley) McDonald, the late Eddie Lemanski, Sarah (Josh) Gahlau and Andrew Lemanski; dear great-grandmother to 22; sister to the late Martin “Bud” Walters and the late Bonnie Myers. Betty lived a life devoted to raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her loving, nurturing spirit made her a homemaker most of her life. Her favorite times were at home, surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered for her delicious birthday cakes and the Grandma sized pieces she served. Betty was a member of the St. Anne’s Catholic Church Community for over 70 years. The family will greet friends at Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors in Sterling Heights on Monday, February 14th from 3:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral service at 7:00pm. Funeral mass Tuesday, February 15th at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 11:00am, instate at 10:30am until the time of mass. She will then be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Clement Cemetery in Center Line following Tuesday’s funeral services.
