Eugenia N. Harlan

August 27, 1931 - February 8, 2022

Eugenia "Mean Jean" Harlan, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022 surrounded by her family in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Eugenia was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1931. Eugenia was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Reese Harlan. Loving mother of the late Thomas Hillie (Jean) Harlan, Richard Peter (Carol) Harlan and Mary Kay (the late Mark) Storen. Dearest grandmother of George (Kim), Jefferey (Erin), Christina (David), Richard (Meghan) and John (Laura). Eugenia is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren Eugenia loved being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being with her long time companion the late Angelo Coccia, who gave her the nickname "Mean Jean". Eugenia spent many years at Red Hots Coney Island. She loved talking to all the customers and many were life long friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Beaumont Hospice.
