June 22, 1950 - April 23, 2021
Miguel Angel (Mike) Rosado died peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Troy Beaumont Hospice after a short illness. He was born on June 22, 1950 in the Bronx, New York. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school graduation and was proud to serve his country. He then moved to Puerto Rico, where he lived for 22 years, graduating from the American University of Puerto Rico. He moved to Michigan in 1995 to work at TACOM as a financial analyst for the U.S. Army for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Candy Rosado; former wife Carmen Julia-Garcia; daughters Amanda (Jonathan) Leung of Berkley and Diana Rosado of Macomb; son Ollie Rosado of New York; step-daughter Melissa (Michael) Black of Franklin, Ohio and step-son Jeremy Scott (Tanya) Bowen of Sidney, Montana. He was the proud Papi of 4 grandchildren (Hudson, Carter, Kensington and Laila Black of Ohio) and a granddaughter due in June in Montana; siblings Milton Rosado of Puerto Rico; Nancy (Angel) Rosa of Connecticut; Johnny Rosado of Puerto Rico; Rosita Rosado of Puerto Rico; Douglas Rosado of Maryland; Tommy (Wanda) Negron of Nevada; many niece, nephews and cousins. He loved all his family very much. Many thanks to Dr. John Calado and his caring staff for the wonderful care they provided to him the past several years. He loved all things Beatles and baseball, especially the New York Mets. His last outing was to a Tigers game with his friend, Terry. What a wonderful way to spend that day. He was on a quest to visit every ballpark and had 2 left to go out of 30. If you should go to a ball game in Atlanta or Minneapolis someday, raise a toast to him. In this spirit, please wear either baseball or Beatles apparel to his visitation. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He loved children so much.
