Jacob M. Bayuga

Jacob Matthew Bayuga was born on May 17, 2000 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He passed away at age 22 on February 22, 2023 in Maya DelCarmen Mexico. On the surface, Jacob seemed like a regular 22 year old. In his education, he was set to graduate with honors from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science - Information Technology degree in April 2023. As part of his final credentials, he sought an internship and was instead hired for a part time job at Secure Checking. Jacob was also a car enthusiast. He would spend his spare time rebuilding a BMW CXI, and when his hands weren't greased from car oil, they were greased with butter and matted with flour because of his love for baking. What many may not know is how much Jacob loved to help. In all aspects of his life, he would use his talents and skills to love and care for those around him, whether they were long time friends or a someone he'd only just met. He would use his love for cars to help others fix and understand them, and he would use his kitchen skills to make goodies and meals for his loved ones to enjoy. He loved working around the house to fix what he could, and was always quick to answer when there was anyone in need. All of these things brought great joy to him, but most of all the things he did as an active member of the Church Of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). He served as a local secretary, Assistant TSV Lead, and an active member of the District CBI (Christian Brotherhood International). He contributed in many ways to the members of his local congregation, as well as his community, showing that you can live a full life when you serve with love. Jacob is survived by his 3 brothers Jonathan, Joshua and Jayden. And his parents Ranny and Donna Bayuga. Visitation & Internment will be held at Mandziuk & Son Funeral at 3801 18 Mile Rd. Sterling Hts, MI 48314. Sunday March 5th from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday March 6th from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday March 7th from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. The funeral procession will begin at 11:00 am. The cemetery is at White Chapel Memorial Park 621 W. Long Lake Rd. Troy Mi 48098.
